Multi Super-Speciality Hospital | Advanced Clinical Care | Charitable Healthcare

Aadinath Hospital, Surat is an ongoing 230-bed multi super-speciality hospital being developed by Shri AadinathYuva Charitable Trust over approximately 30,000 sq.m., expanding its existing healthcare initiatives such as diagnostics, physiotherapy, mobile clinics and medical support services. The project integrates a wide range of medical and surgical specialties, advanced diagnostics, critical care and inpatient services within a single facility, reflecting the Trust’s commitment to affordable and holistic healthcare. Guided by the principle “Service is Our Duty,” the hospital aims to provide timely and effective treatment through experienced professionals and advanced technology at reasonable costs, while strengthening Surat’s healthcare infrastructure and ensuring accessible care for all sections of society.

AMRD’s study and planning approach focuses on organising the complex requirements of a large multi super-speciality hospital into clearly defined clinical zones. The planning integrates high-footfall OPDs, emergency and diagnostics, multiple surgical departments, cardiac intervention, dialysis, critical care, maternal and neonatal care, laboratory services and inpatient accommodation while maintaining strong functional relationships between interdependent departments.

The ground floor functions as the principal arrival and emergency zone, comprising administration and accounts, pharmacy, Emergency Department, radiology and the Vaiyavach Department. The first floor accommodates the Vaiyavach Department along with three clusters of OPDs, creating a consolidated outpatient zone. The second floor is planned for Ophthalmology, with its OPDs and two operation theatres - one major and one minor OT - along with a dialysis ward and day-care ward. The third floor forms the cardiac-care zone, accommodating cardiology OPDs, CT-ICU, Cath Lab, two cardiac OTs and MICU.

The fourth floor is the major surgical and women-and-child care level. It includes the Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department, two gynaecology OTs, labour rooms, pre- and post-operative recovery, NICU and SICU, together with a separate six-OT surgical complex and CSSD. Across the hospital, the project therefore provides 12 operation theatres, including ophthalmology, cardiac, gynaecology and general surgical OTs. The fifth floor accommodates Physiotherapy, administration, pathology laboratory and MRD/store facilities. The sixth floor is dedicated to general wards, while the seventh, eighth and ninth floors provide sharing and private inpatient rooms. The 10th floor accommodates staff residential facilities, supporting the hospital’s round-the-clock operations.

The hospital is planned to provide a broad spectrum of specialties including General Medicine, General Surgery, Cardiology, Oncology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Haematology, Endocrinology, Pulmonology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Dermatology, Geriatrics, Dental Care, Emergency Medicine and Anaesthesiology, among others. Its diagnostic programme includes clinical biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, cytopathology, haematology, histopathology, toxicology, blood bank and serology.

Architecturally and functionally, the project is designed as a vertically integrated healthcare facility, with emergency and OPD services at the lower levels, followed by surgical, critical care, diagnostic, and inpatient zones above, and staff facilities at the top. This zoning ensures efficient coordination and smooth patient movement.

On completion, the 230-bed Aadinath Hospital will mark a major expansion of the Trust’s mission—evolving into a full-scale 30,000 sq.m. multi super-speciality institution. It reflects the philosophy of selfless service by providing advanced, accessible, and compassionate healthcare under one roof.
